What I'm Doing Right Now
(inspired by Derek Sivers)
Role: Artist in Residence
I'm thrilled to be in residence at Treadwell's, London's famous occult bookshop for a few afternoons a week. I'm writing and experimenting with the intersection of pagan practice and improvised theatre.
Role: Writer/Maker
I've handed over the final draft of The Ice at the End of the World; a play for Omnibus Theatre based on my experience as an artist in residence on the Arctic Circle Program. Tickets go on sale soon. The show will run for three weeks in September-October. I'm delighted to have received funding support from the Peggy Ramsay Foundation and Arts Council England.
I'm thrilled to be with Cards Against Humanity again as a contributing writer.
Role: Voiceover
As well as my occasional work doing corporate voiceover, I'm going back to a National Trust podcast series that I recorded a pilot for and which has been commissioned for a full series. It's a really fun one for kids about nature.
Role: Improv Teacher/Director
My year-long Mythic Improv Journey continues and I'll be teaching at Lisbon and Karlsruhe festivals, guest teaching for a teachers' London intensive as well as doing ad hoc coaching and directing.
Role: Student
I'm studying Bardic Druidry with OBOD and am half way through a Folklore Studies MA at the University of Hertfordshire.
Role: Human Woman
I had a lovely Peak District holiday with my partner and dog (these are two separate entities).
